Are there govt. loans or some other type of help for childcare expenses?

I am a single stay-at-home mom, but cirstances require that I start working soon. However, my daughter would need to go into daycare, and I don't have the money to pay for it. Is there a way to get help with childcare expenses, just until I earn a few paychecks and can manage on my own? I know about subsidized childcare, but PA requires proof of employment and two pay stubs before you can apply for it, so I'm stuck in a rut.
