My two month old suffers from acid reflux and will only sleep on his belly?

My two month old has acid reflux. He is also severly colicey and gasey. He is on nutrimagen formula because he has a cows protein allergy. If i lay him on his back he is awake 24/7 in pain from all the gas bubbles. He cries in pain and is so cranky because he is tired. I am exhausted from being up with him all night long. Latly i have noticed that if i lay him on his stomach he pes out and sleeps for as much as 7 hours! He is so comfortable on his belly because it helps break up the gas. I notice that when i lay him on his belly he farts alot which he does not do on his back. He has good head control and can turn his head from side to side. He even sits in his bumbo during the day and holds up his own head for as much as 10 minutes until his neck gets tired. He also moves alot in his sleep. I am terrified to let him sleep on his stomach. Latly i have been putting him on his stomach so he can get rest and i just sit there and watch him but i am so tired! What should i do? Has anyone else let there baby sleep on there belly? please give me advice. thank you :)
