Help me fill up my hutch?

I just bought a new dining table and it came with a hutch. What should I fill it with? The hutch has three levels of display. I do not have nice china set. I have just enough decorative dishware to fill on level. Would it be tacky to put dishes on one level and knick-knacks on the other levels? Or should I go all knick-knacks or buy more dishes and so I can go all dishes?
